Context

The client is the oldest among its subsidiaries and has been operating for about 167 years now and carries with it the distinction of being one of the biggest brands in the distilled spirits category with a 99% share in the rum category.

The client is a national icon, and as the spirits drink of Filipinos, it represents the nation’s true characteristics as a people. These include the spirit of honor and tradition; the spirit of bravery, resiliency, and dedication; and the core trait of respect for elders and family values.

Challenge

The client wants to organize and utilize their big data by implementing a data center project which will streamline their development, sales, and marketing operations. The challenge lies in being able to manage their century-worth of historical and transactional data. With this project in mind, they have reached out to us to help them design their end-to-end data center architecture.

Analysis

Given the historical and current usage utilization of the client's internal business tools, having a system that's up 24/7 would be a must. The downtime cost is too high and is intolerable for the business and its branches. Hence, why multiple server and node backups need to be properly set up both on-premise and on a virtual machine.

solution

High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) systems were recommended in the data center blueprint design, with three (3) different architectures for the client to choose from. The options vary in terms of overall cost, uptime availability, and required resources and suppliers to implement. Nonetheless, all of them were designed to ensure 100% uptime for their hosted enterprise applications.

Context

The client has been in the clothing retail industry since 1960. They are one of the top bespoke tailoring services providers in the Philippines, and also carries ready-to-wear and made-to-measure clothing for both men and women.

Challenge

The pandemic has disrupted the client's operations due to health and safety restrictions implemented in the country. This also affected their brick-and-mortar business model negatively since the foot traffic significantly decreased for all physical stores due to lockdown. Now, they are seeking innovative ways on how to adapt their business to the new normal.

Analysis

The client has been utilizing different social media channels to market their products and services. However, there's no actual system that can process transactions for them digitally. In addition, they also have an existing static web application that needs to be enhanced.

Solution

The development of an e-commerce application was recommended to the client, which would also act as their sales channel in the digital space. This has enabled the client not just to sell products online, but also to improve their brand image and differentiation in the market.

Context

The client saw an opportunity in the rise of aggregator applications and wanted to tap a niche market in the country by creating a syndicated application to showcase a specific product group to a particular market. Essentially, they were looking for an agency that will execute their idea for them.

Challenge

The idea had to be built from scratch. From the business model, revenue plan, up until the actual application development. The team was tasked to take ownership of this MVP to ensure its successful lunch.

Analysis

Building a business from the ground consumes more time, budget, and scope. Since this project is tailored to a very specific product group, everything will have to be carefully thought of, and ensure that no little detail will be missed out.

Solution

A dynamic web application was recommended to the client with a focus on the customer's ease of use. We designed the system in such a way that the users will be able to order in less than 10 clicks. All the other unnecessary elements in the application were stripped down, to ensure that the users only see what they need to see.

Context

The client has been in the hardware and construction industry for over 25 years. Initially, they started as a hollowblocks (CHB) supplier in the CALABARZON region which eventually expanded to different regions of the Philippines. Now they are seen as an all-around provider for any construction needs, and they continue to build the homes for their customers one order at a time.

Challenge

One of the main problems the client wanted us to resolve was their business' lack of visibility to the market. Their new and returning customers had to physically visit the store just to discover their new and existing products. Along with this, their customers also encountered misdirection often since there's no navigational information available that the customers can use as reference.

Analysis

The client has successfully built a solid foundation of customer loyalty. But for them to expand their reach further, they need to establish a digital presence that would allow their customers to easily search for them. Additionally, there is also a need to integrate their digital front page to a navigation provider so that their customers can easily navigate to their physical store.

Solution

A static web application that showcases all of their products was recommended to the client. In line with this, the application was also integrated with the top digital navigation providers using various API connections which enabled their customers to easily locate their store in just one click.
